We have a weakness for good products. And when it comes to development spirit, innovative ideas and outstanding quality, we really go into overdrive. The more individual the application and the more extreme the requirements for industrial friction linings, the better - implementing our customers' wishes in the best possible way is our concern and our daily drive.

The Eifel is our home. From our desks, we can watch the deer in the meadows and take a walk in the forest during our lunch break. We want nature to remain just as beautiful as it is. That's why sustainability is not a trend for us, but a decision for life.

Long and unnecessary transport routes are not an option for us. As a German manufacturer of industrial brake pads, we have stuck to our production directly at the company site since 1995, thus saving a lot of CO2. We also source most of our raw materials from European extraction areas, and above all from suppliers to whom the environment is just as important as it is to us.

We know that this alone will not save the environment.

That's why we work every day to become even more sustainable. With big decisions like the path to independence from fossil raw materials. But also with the very small ones, by increasingly going paperless and enabling our employees to commute to work CO2-neutrally with a job bike. Because the environment concerns us all.

PZ Friction produces high-quality friction linings for a wide range of industries and applications - in most cases we are requested when individual requirements demand higher quality and standard friction linings would reach their limits.

Almost 30 years of experience are no reason for us to sit back. We are constantly working to develop ourselves and our friction materials further. That's why we continuously invest in our know-how and in the best equipment - both in production and in our in-house laboratory.

We would not promise you the best quality if we were not convinced of it ourselves. That's why we don't hand over any of the work steps until delivery. Each production step takes place directly at our site in Nettersheim-Zingsheim - always under the strict eyes of our quality assurance.

And they also always keep an eye on our raw materials. Although we only work with long-standing suppliers and all raw materials are responsibly sourced, we critically check each of them again upon receipt of goods. This has enabled us to reduce our reject rate to a minimum. This is what our customers appreciate about us and it makes us proud.

Because big promises are not enough: Our certificates

Really good quality only becomes apparent when it is used in your product. So that you know beforehand that you can rely on us, we have had our work certified.

PZ Friction is ISO 9001 certified and as a bonding company according to DIN 6701 A2. Because the mixing of raw materials plays a key role in ensuring consistent and excellent quality, our mixing plant operates in accordance with the guidelines of the IATF 16949 certification level. This means that our linings also meet the particularly stringent quality requirements of the automotive industry.
